First Winter Fundraiser

OK, we're off! Official auditions are Thursday, but I've been watching these past few days :) It's going to be an awesome year!

Our first fundraiser is a Rehearse-a-thon. You will get a packet Thursday so that you can go and get sponsors for our Dave Week rehearsals. You can have people pledge money per hour you will rehearse or donate a flat fee. This money goes completely to your fees, so you need to keep track carefully on your sheet. You can make quite a bit of money to help your fees if you take this seriously!!

I figured you could get pledges next week when many of you are visiting with family over Thanksgiving break. Ask grandmas, aunts, uncles, other family, teachers, friends, neighbors to sponsor you. Write down some ideas of who you can ask. I think this will be a great way to help with fees. Take it seriously!!

If you know you'll be able to pay your fees, consider donating your pledges to another member who cannot. If you're not sure who to donate to, I can help with that. I can't tell you who, but I can confidentially collect money for someone who is going to need it.
