The end marks a new beginning...
Congratulations Tigard Winter Guards! I'm so proud of all of you. I hope that you all continue to spin and keep your skills up because, as you know, there's always another season ahead :) Especially those weapon skills. Pick up the rifle and saber often and keep your muscles trained. The more we know when we return to rehearsals, the farther we can go!
Keep in touch and I love you guys!

Drivers NEEDED
This weekend is going to be different than all the other competitions we have been to this year. There is only one round of competition. Percussion happens early in the day ending at 2pm. Guard starts after that and ends at 8pm.
Therefore, the guards are NOT going to ride the bus to the competition in Vancouver this weekend. However, we will ride the bus home.
WE NEED DRIVERS TO CARPOOL THIS WEEKEND.
Please ask your parents/guardians if they could drive you and a few others to the show Saturday.
I need space for 6 JV to leave at 2pm.
I also need space for 8 Varsity to leave at 3:30.
Ask NOW. PLEASE!

Go to http://www.nextlevelmarchingband.com, click download videos, select a unit you wish to download, add to cart, purchase, and enjoy! This is a first for the Northwest and will hopefully be the first of many great technological endeavors for the NWAPA.

For the next 2 weeks
Hey all!
I haven't had an opportunity to listen to the judges' comments, and I will post my thoughts when I have a chance. However, I have looked at the recap in great detail. Here's the link. The percussion recap is first so you have to scroll down quite a bit to see our class.

We are pretty close if not above some of our competitors in Equipment and GE. However, in Movement and Ensemble Analysis we are over 3 points down in EACH caption. Movement has been a struggle for us all year. Ensemble is something we haven't had time to address. This is going to be our focus from here to the end of the season: smoothing out the show and cleaning up parts that have individuals still sticking out.
WGI this weekend! Of the 19 SA guards, 10 go to finals. Wouldn't it be amazing if we could go to finals in our very first WGI regional??
